Back in the Game

I'm back. Missed me?

Well, I'm getting back to sewing after a year. Since a lot has changed in the past year and since I have changed, I figured, it's time for a new blog.

I have missed sewing tremendously, and I have missed all my sewing buddies and friends.

With my sewing machines oiled, drafting tools ready and a new steam iron (how could I ever lived without one of these), I'm ready for the comeback.

My first garment will be a wool houndstooth skirt. I need something easy to start with.

On the drafting table: a sloper for a fitted shirt. I decided to draft a sloper from the scratch to brush up on my drafting skills and to achieve the perfect fit. I'll use it later with various commercial patterns.
